Hello and welcome to my family site. This is a work in progress, so any information coming in will be welcome and gladly added to the tree.
If you have any information that you would like to see added I would be quite happy to accommodate you.
Please leave your input in the feedback section and perhaps sign the guest book.
Various spelling of the name over the years were/are, Hale, Hail, Hailes, Hayles, Hayle, Hales, Haile and more.
Meaning of the Hale name:
Hale is a boy's name of English origin. It is ether from the Old English name halh, meaning "a nook, hollow or recess" or from the Old Saxon name haelaeh, meaning "hero". The name Hale falls into this last category, as it comes from the Old English, or Anglo-Saxon halh, or healh, meaning nook or hollow. The precise meaning (and spelling) seems to depend on which part of England the individual came from, but they all have a fairly common origin. The name Hale is also an old Anglo-Saxon name. It comes from when a family lived in a remote valley, or nook. Checking further we found the name was derived from the Old English halh, which had the same meaning.
MOTTO: Cum principibus which means Whith my chiefs. (spelt that way from source)
Unfortunately some information on various people in this tree is unavailable. Sometimes due to the countries e.g., Ireland and early England, some records were either not kept, or as in Ireland, the big fire destroyed a lot of bdm records.
Below is the list of the various sites from which I have obtained information on Births, Marriages and Deaths of the HALE Tree, and all the various related family names found within this tree site.

Without the help of the sites above, it would be almost impossible to add to the tree site in the manner that I have, and the total content. I have also had the help of various members of the following tree sites:
My Heritage, Ancestry.com.au, Wiki tree, and this site Tribal Pages.
